When creating the folkcoin KUNUK meme Greenland, our associations never doubted the correctness of the choice for a second. A baby Greenland seal. He is no longer a baby, but not yet an adult… and therefore already full of youthful maximalism, which makes him worry about the fate of this island, while remaining just as cute. We gave our baby the name Kunuk, and here’s why… The name Kunuk is no longer found in Greenland today, the last time it was used was in the 1950s, although it is an ancient Greenlandic name. The short form comes from inequnaq ‘sweet/cute one’: unukunuk… kunuk. And this name suits our hero perfectly! And his surname is suitable Kunuk Freegreensoon.
